At first glance, it is a beautifully made back massager. Its detail is on point and obviously made with great precision and accuracy. The S-shaped back massage seat cushion fits the curvature of the human spine and fully supports the back. It works perfectly for me who is a petite girl, and for my partner who has broader shoulders and taller than me; as this massager has a larger massage area that caters to different body types.
We enjoy the deep comfortable kneading and rolling massage it provides. Gives a deep massage on knots and tense muscles. It has three rolling massage zones, four soft gel deep kneading massage nodes, and three adjustable massage intensity levels that will fit your personal needs. I use it together with its seat vibration massager and the heat on option. I personally haven't used it in the car but I will soon take this with me whenever we have long car trips, so I can relax after driving. Really happy with this purchase!!
I have quite a few products from Renpho; the scale, foot massager, leg massager, and massage gun; and they have all either met or exceeded my expecations and I use them all regularly. I run long distance mostly for exercise but also as a sort of meditation and also to keep me from gaining weight and all these produtcts have served directly or indirectly to aid my running.
I saw this back massager advertised and got this for a totally different purpose. I work from home, like many do nowadays, and sit on my very comfortable office chair whole day. Often I get so caught up with doing something that my back gets tense. As soon as I notice that I lean back my chair, turn on the back massager at the highest intensity with heat, set it for 20 minutes and close my eyes and focus on the warmt from the massager, the rolling balls massaging my back and the vibration of the seat....I am in meditative heaven...and I come out of it new and refreshed and ready to forge ahead with my work.
Great product at the right time. Ever since my office chair gave way, I started using dining chair while working from home. That expectedly brought some discomfort in the back area. I like the product, especially because the massagers can go really low (see video). That’s where I need them the most. A lot of chairs, even office chairs have poor lumbar support. It fits well onto the chair, and does a great job. Cushion vibrates too but I don’t use it. Maybe if it massaged too ;). Looking forward to use it in the car over the long drives during the summer break.
The massager was packaged really well and was easy to setup on a chair. There are two velcro's to help attach it to the back of the chair and this one has double velcro to make sure it is tight on the chair. There is also a velcro to attach the head cushion. There are two power option attachments, one for the normal power point at home and also a travel power adapter to power it through a car cigarette lighter.
The controls were easy enough to figure out as can be seen by the remote image. The massager primarily targets the back but there is an option for seat vibration (3 levels of seat vibration). The back options are adequate with either full back or just the upper or lower back. There is an additional option that I haven't seen in other massagers which is allowing you to target a particular spot on the back. Just like the seat vibration, there are three levels of back massager with the toughest still not uncomfortable for my usage.
This is a great back massagers and does what it says to target the back to workout all those tight areas.
I took a gamble on this, and I must say I've been pleasantly surprised.
The item was packaged extremely well... almost too well, in fact, as I struggled to extract it from the sturdy shipping box!
The massage options are great. You can opt for a full back, lower back, or upper back massage, as well as having the ability to target a particular area of your back. The latter option comes with "Up" and "Down" buttons to specifically select the area you want to massage.
Having used this for the better part of a week, I'm impressed. I'm on my feet quite a lot for my job, and coming home to a nice "massage" is quite cool.
If I had one criticism, and it's really minor, it's that the upper back massage doesn't get the shoulders quite as well as I'd hoped, but you can lean into the chair a bit more to get the desired effect.
The vibration and heat options are nice, but the bread and butter of this product is the massage feature, and it's really quite good!
I received the new model of the Renpho Back massager just before Christmas. It arrived solidly packaged, with a welcome carry handle. It was a breeze to set up and plug in, even without instructions. I first installed it at my CAD workstation in the spare room – not a brilliant fit for office chairs, but still way better than not being massaged. Long Covid isolation has given a few of us Melburnians ‘computer back’, so this was a nice option to have a home massage. I set about trying the full back massage, low intensity. It certainly did the trick, with the good areas getting a pleasurable kneading, and the sore areas getting some overdue de-clenching. I then tried the upper and lower controls – good if you have lumbar soreness, or mid ‘computer back’. The manual up/down feature was helpful to target the specific areas in need. I also tried it with our dining chair – a much better fit. I also tried the heater – yes it worked, but it’s summer here, so I quickly switched it off. The vibration was good, but not a game changer like the massager itself. I also tried it in my van – not good, too distracting, too much height increase (I’m 6’ btw) and difficult to change gears. Would be good if the next model had a heat-only function for older cars with no built in seat heaters. In summary; - The full back auto feature is great if your back is in good condition but tired, - The manual up-down feature is better if you’re actually sore and want to target those areas, - Would I recommend? – Yeah, I liked it so much that I bought another one for Dad for Christmas.
The Back Massager arrived quickly, well packaged and internally wrapped. Very easy to assemble, cords length is generous, more than 1.5m and even got 12v car adapter (which I'm planning to use in my long drives). One small issue with the way the remote cable was packaged which left a dent at the bottom seat. I hope it will fully recover itself, as I can already see an improvement after a day. Remote is easy to use and well presented with the number of different options you can have - heat, back position, length of the massage, seat vibration and massage intensity. What I really like is that the on button get you started immediately. After a long day - I don't want to make any more decisions and tweak more settings, I just need a back massage, and this is what I get with this product, unlike some other products. The massage itself is firm to very firm - it touches all my aching muscles, and I feel refreshed afterwards. Really gets into the lower back the major rhomboids. At times the intensity is unbearable when I set it to Medium and the missus reported the same when she had hers set to Low. One thing keeps me on my toes and doesn't let me fully relax, it comes very close to the spine. For bigger guys, I suspect it won't be an issue, but I'm just an average built. Seat vibration is really good, pleasant rand re-energising sensation. Overall a high-quality product which has more than enough strength to release your back. A few subtle adjustments would have made it perfect.
I was quite sceptical as I have used mediocre massage chair attachments previously, but I suffer from constant muscle soreness, particularly around my lower back area, so I am constantly in the lookout for massage chairs that do not cost an arm and a leg, but actually provide pain relief in an ergonomic way.
The first thing that caught my eye was the design. It might not be that important to others, but other options on the market look so antiquated and look quite shoddy. Given that these massage chairs attach to a stand-alone chair (for my use an office chair and car chair), the design element was important. Not to mention, there is an "s" curvature, and it isn't a straight flimsy back like most other massage chair attachments.
More importantly, was the actual functionality. The massage nodes go all the way from the bottom of the lower back, all the way to the top of your shoulders. This range was quite surprising as I thought this type of functionality was only available on stand-alone massage chairs. So this is a MASSIVE plus for this product. The motor also appears to be quite strong and I haven't had any issues with the strength (noting that you also get three variable intensities).
Finally, there is a cigarette charger attachment as well! I actually did not expect this, as I had planned to use this solely for my office chair. But now I think this would be great to keep in the car for long road trips
Bought this few days ago, received it today(took 3days from order to get it delivered, impressive). My past experience with renpho body scale was great and this didn’t let my expectations down again. I work at home and spend most of the time sitting on a chair. I was looking for a ergonomic chairs and massage/comfort accessories to use with my regular chair and found this. I really love how the roller thing goes around my back and provide enough pressure to massage my muscles. Initially I set this device to full beast mode but I had to turn it down to medium pressure because how powerful this was. I haven't tried out heating function because its summer in where I live and I didn't need extra heat to sweat myself. I would definetely recommend this to someone who wants the entry level massage chair and I don't regret purchasing this. I might purhase extras for friends and family for gift.
This is a great product for back pain especially for lower back. I have lower back pains frequently due to sciatica and 15mins a day on this massager has helped me a lot. It starps around any chair ami have tried in my dining chair and also in my strapped to car seat. The full back massage is most relaxing with the heat feature on while massaging. Light weight with breathable material easy to maintain. The cable attached remote control is straight forward and very easy to use offering a variety of options - upper or lower back massage- with the option to focus on one area but con about the display is that its hard to read due to the colour choice of the word print.
I definitely recommend this product for anyone with back pain and wants quick and easy relief from back pain .
