Disappointing.

Disappointed in quality of these bags. Thry were supposed to be breathable but appear to be just thin vinyl . Don't think they eill last very long. I was expecting so.ething more "cloth like" and heavier/sturdy . I found have bought the same thing at the dollar store for a fraction of the price. Would not buy again.

The "Zilink Hanging Garment Bag Lightweight Suit Bags Anti-Moth (Set of 6)" Size: 24" x 43"/50" we purchased was part of a lightning deal. The price was good with many positive reviews. The seller was DigitalWorld-US. So we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the set we received was made of very thin material and easily gets punctured. There are already holes in a couple of the bags. Would not suggest using this for travel as we had originally intended. It can be for very light use in the closet. However, if traveling, it may not hold up well to protect your suits/dresses. It would puncture very easily especially where zippers may push up against the material.

The product description also says that these garment bags can be washed, but we highly doubt it would hold up well after a couple of washes.

We loved the Ikea garment bags but they are no longer available. The Ikea ones are approximately the same size, however they are much more spacious than the Zilink ones. These run narrow/small. It is a very tight fit for men's winter coats. Perhaps, this set was defective. We contacted the seller directly to no avail. The design is great. Too bad the material is not. Wish we could have liked them as much as the other reviewers. Would not recommend under the circumstances.

Zipper broke

I was very disappointed with this item. The size of it seemed perfect, but I did notice quickly that it was very light weight. I believe I had read other reviews about the zipper breaking. Well, I didn't have mine long at all, and that happened. At the top part of the bag, there are two zippers that come from either side, and meet in the middle. The one coming from the left broke, so now...even if I zip the one from the right and the one that goes vertically from the bottom up...there is an area on the left that is left open because the zipper broke. I still have my clothes in it for now, just so as to keep dust off the top of the garments, but I will need to replace this bag with something that stays closed, without broken parts!

cheap China, imitation.....the plastic is extremely cheap & thin, zipper cheap & easily broken, the velcro is cheap and doesn't lie down like it should....the design is perfect since there's no bar to worry about being strong enough to hold yr clothes....if someone makes an IMPROVED US version with thicker,, plastic, better zipper and thicker velcro will be perfect & would work better than any other...if I find a better version I will be returning these....also came looking like had been used or repackaged

I had hoped to receive a hanging garment bag that could hang on its own. This is simply a large piece of plastic that you squeeze clothes into that already have hangers. I guess it can provide some protection for the clothes that way, but it is not what I would call a hanging garment bag. If you go this route, having individual plastic zippered bags would be much better. I had planned on purchasing 2 of these, but after the first one arrived, I cancelled the second order. For my use, a more traditional hanging garment bag is much better.

This has been a reliable item until my most recent order. I liked the high quality zipper tab, and heavier PVC vinyl. Two of the six garment bags in the most recent shipment in 2021 had manufacturing defects. Because of a problem with the zipper, it is not possible to unzip the bag fully. I am still trying to use them for storage, but since they only unzip 12" it is not very practical. I should find a brand with better quality control in manufacturing.

Poor provision for hanger hooks at top of bag!

It was practically impossible to install hanger hooks through top of bag. Instructions were useless. If we had not been desperately working on a tight schedule we would have returned these bags for credit. Travelers shopping for a folding clothes hanger bag should make a different selection!

When I ordered this it looked like it came with the frame to hang the bags from. There was nothing in the description to state the order was for the bags only. I think that this is very deceptive advertising. I expected better than this from Amazon. Goes to show that this is the world we sadly now live in, anything for the sale, by any means, transparency no longer exists. Honesty and truth in advertising no longer is the norm, but the exception. Its all about the bottom line, no matter what it takes to improve it. I know it is buyer beware, but I did not think that would be an issue with Amazon,, oops shame on me for not investigating this sale before my purchase.

Flimsy, plastic tears easily, large opening at the top

I bought several of these to house my wool coats and some other garments that don't get worn a lot (to keep the dust off). These are not good for moth-proofing as the opening at the top for the hanger is plenty large. More seriously, the plastic detached from the zipper on one after just a few uses--I'm not impressed. The others are OK, but it's because they are being used for long-term storage. I would not recommend them for traveling as it is likely to come apart after just a few trips!
