These are beautiful. I think I got them on sale but would pay full price. I got two different colours and a third black pair. So cute with leggings or skinny jeans. Extremely comfortable to be in all day. No break in or blisters just comfort. I ordered my usual size 7.5 regular and they are a perfect fit. I never question the quality of Clark’s. If they cost more it’s because they are worth it.
I am updating this review because after wearing them for a while they are probably the most comfortable shoe I have worn in a long time. . I did polish them up to darken them and they were more to my liking.
These boots are comfortable but they do not look like quality leather boots, they don’t even smell like leather, and don’t feel like leather. The color is supposed to be black but they look dark grayish black, like old worn out boots. I will be keeping them because I needed comfortable shoes and as noted they are comfortable. I am going to try some leather polish on them to spruce up, but they are thin too, not sure how they will hold up.
I don't know what these are made out of, but whatever it is makes them so prone to marks and damage. I ordered these for my daughter's birthday. I opened the box and they were all scuffed on the side. I took them out of the box and they were all scratched up above where your toes would be. The bottoms didn't look worn, so I don't know what happened. They were so cute. I was really looking forward to giving them to her. I decided not to take a chance and reorder them, because I could tell the material would damage easily if barely touched by something. Too expensive to be worn once and ruined.
I wasn’t impressed with these. I want a black boot that is a staple to replace the ones I wear about every day. I have to be careful and be sure to find one that I can walk in on concrete floors and not make my planter fasciitis worse (I am a teacher). I thought these looked very cheap and like they would look old and worn before their time because of the material. It looked like cheap plasticy wannabe leather. When I tried them on they were very stiff and tight. Too tight because I could barely move my toes. They felt like they had no padding in them at all. I was very disappointed in them and promptly returned them.
I wear 8 1/2 but ordered 9 in case I want to wear socks. Even without socks I could even begin to get these on my feet. I'm going to return and gave my rating for that reason. I'm not sure where these were made as I could not find that information before ordering, which I also find annoying, but I bet in China as those things always tend to run small. I'll keep looking for something made in the USA as I've always had good luck with buying shoes online when I know they are made here where our sizes are understood.
Clark’s boots are usually greatest in comfort and fit for me. I always wear a 7-1/2, but these are somewhat tight and they narrow considerably at the toe. I am hopeful they will stretch with indoor use only. Disappointed right now.too
I love these boots. When I received them it was pretty cold. I put them on and boy was I PLEASED with the results. My poor feet or so unpredictable what other feet like mine doesn't. So I'm very skeptical 🧐 when buying shoes. But these were Awesome. Very comfortable and they fit perfect.
