Fabric and fit are just as I hoped. I am 5'4 135lb and slim through the hip. These are loose but this fabric falls nicely and does not add bulk. I prefer the non clingy fitl I would not call the fabric french terry, but from the description, did not expect french terry. These are soft smooth jersey. Lighter weight than my fleece ones, a bit heavier than the capris pair I bought in the spring. All amazon essentials. Perfect for staying home all day and lounging with nice tops. Could even double as camping pj's.
Love these pants! These are so comfortable and the fabric is the perfect weight. They do not feel like french terry. They are more like a heavier weight jersey. They wash really well. I have several pairs and they do not fade, ball up, or shrink. I found they stretch out through the day though. Definitely size down. I would normally wear an XL. The XL was a little big, but I wore them anyway. By the end of the day they were falling down. I ordered a large and they’re perfect. Ordering more of these while they’re still in stock.
I ordered charcoal heather twice both times receiving grey marble. I am keeping them because the fabric is amazing but disappointed I couldn’t get the correct color. I am a 16/18. Originally ordered a xxl. Way to big. So ordered in an xl which was perfect. I’m only 5’3” so these are long but not too long that I will trip on them.
I ordered and received two pairs of these pants. I read review after review about the fit being off, or variations in fit by color, or too heavy, too light, and so on. These were so inexpensive I decided to try anyway.
I was surprised to find that they are not too heavy or too light, so they drape well. They are soft and comfortable. The light gray and charcoal colors are the same size. I decided to go with size medium instead of small since cotton does shrink some without special handling (and I didn’t want sweats that had to be cold wash and line dry.}. The outcome is:
The medium is just right - I’m 5’3’ and weigh 130. The length is just right. The pants legs are a bit wider than “straight” but they drape really well. Glad I bought them
I'm scheduled to have a hip replaced and have been losing weight, and wanted something easy to wear for coming home from the hospital. Since it's very hard for me to go to a store and try on things right now, I decided to try Prime Wardrobe and ordered an assortment of sweatpants/yoga pants so I could take my time trying them on. I tried Hanes first, as I used to have good luck with them, but the legs were cut too skinny to be comfortable and the sizes ran smaller than the old ones I currently own. I added these Amazon Basics to the bunch at the last minute - and I'm so glad I did! These are so comfortable! They are fairly lightweight but not see-through, drape nicely and the legs are NOT tight. They have pockets, and a wide elastic waistband that also has a drawstring in it (although I think the elastic is good enough to hold them nicely). I'm about 5'4" and these are pretty long on me - probably 4 or 5 inches too long - so I may hem them if they don't shrink up in the wash. These cost more than the Hanes version, but I think the much better fit is worth it! If my opinion changes after washing and wearing I will update this review.
