Wireless mouse lagged
Reviewed in Australia on 2 August 2020
I used this on my Dell Inspiron 5391 laptop. After plugging it into its USB-C port, my devices (wired keyboard, Logitech wireless mouse USB receiver, ethernet cable, printer cable, a USB storage device) seemed to work well and recognized by my laptop. I did get a “Display Connection Might Be Limited” message after plugging this in.
What I didn’t like was how my wireless mouse would lag. To discover whether my wireless mouse/its receiver isthe problem, I changed its battery and used an old docking station (with only 3x usb 3.0 port and an ethernet port) with USB connection. My wireless mouse did not slow or lag over time. Devices connected to it worked and recognized by my laptop too.
I don’t know if I got a defective docking station or is it because it’s a USB-C type connection. I’m disappointed with its performance and felt like I wasted money. Will be using my old one for now cause of my frequent usage of my mouse.
