Great value, works well in cold, but not that much compression to speak of...

I'm 169cm weighing 88kgs with a waist of a snug 34", so on the chunkier side: I bought the tops and pants of these TESLA 'compression' thermal baselayers for winter cycling, and I have to say, they're not bad at all. I purchased the L sized tops and pants and went on a ride in this last week that went down to 3degC and it was about the limits of what it can do! As far as compression is concerned, there isn't much of that as you would find in the several hundred dollar branded ones. Thermal capabilities aren't bad, but as earlier mentioned, probably not that good for single digit temps. Granted, I wore only short bibs and jersey (with a sleeveless CRAFT baselayer) above these TESLA thermals. They are quite smooth on the outside, and both the CRAFT baselayer and my jersey slipped around on top of these. In the cycling posture, the waistband of the bottoms gathered up around the gut resulting in some discomfort but otherwise, the supermicrofleece against your skin provided some great warmth. Would be great for skiing underneath your skisuit or your jacket and waterproof pants! I would buy again for sure! Recommended them to my fellow riders.
