Loved it! If you love the previous book Not my Romeo, I think you’ll love this book too. It is charming, hilarious at times, with a good dash of romance and the characters are extremely likeable.
This story centres around Giselle and Devon who we met in the Not my Romeo. Giselle is Elena’s sister and if you read the previous book, you’ll know why I was dubious at first that I would like her as the main romantic lead. I couldn’t be more wrong, though I still think she wasn’t great in book 1, I loved her in this story. She was intelligent, slightly awkward at times, funny and sweet. Devon, who is Jack’s best friend and team mate is a swoon worthy counterpart to Giselle. We meet some lovely new characters to add to the Daisy Gang. However it was lovely to revisit with Topher, Aunt Clara, Elena, Jack, Aiden, Cynthia, Quinn and Romeo the pig again.
This book could be read as a stand-alone, but I think it much better read after Not my Romeo, due to this story taking place after those events and therefore some spoilers. Also I think you’ll appreciate the story and characters more too because you got to know and adore them in Book 1. Hoping to read more about these characters in future books.
