To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
These mats are just what I needed to help us all wipe our feet-- once before entering our lanai and again before coming into the house. However-- where the rubber edging goes over the material top there were gaps that would have easily pulled down more and more by wiping feet, had I not put a couple dabs of super glue underneath the gaps. Wasn't happy to see this at first, but it was a fairly easy fix.
A mat is a mat.. looks sturdy and solid.. but the chemical smell is the strongest out of any products I’ve bought. It’s like there should be 1 more step that the manufacturer skipped, to get rid if the smell before getting it to the hands of the consumer. Leave it outside for 2 days if you intend to use it indoor.
These aren't bad, but for several weeks after the product arrived (it arrived rolled up) it simply would not lay flat on the floor. The outside edges would curl up, and the curl prevented the door from opening. Over time, the curl did subside enough that the door could pass over the mat again.
These are heavy duty but I agree with the other reviews on the smell and packaging. Would’ve been nice if it was already laid flat. I normally always read reviews but unfortunately failed to do so with these. Would've went with something else. It doesn’t air out well. Wherever it’s placed, scent takes over
Had these for a couple weeks. They were rolled so tightly that one is still curved at the ends and it a tripping hazard. I’m hoping in the summer, the heat will flatten in out. Other than that, they seem ok
These are no good indoors because they stink like tires. They also came tightly rolled and after several days they still aren’t laying flat: a trip hazard. Would probably be better for a garage or outdoors. Yuck.
Overall, they're OK. They serve the purpose. It took a while for them to flatten out after taking out of the packaging, which was expected. The rubber edging could be glued down a little better to the "carpet" portion.
