The size Small was too big for me!! Literally big. Im a 5'2", 110lbs. It does not match the size chart posted. Though the color and the texture is good. These scrubs ended up with my partner who is 5'7" and 160 lbs.
For the sake of other female healthcare workers out there:
I am C/D cup. 234 lbs. 5’ 4” tall. I usually wear XL to 1X in stuff from Walmart, Target, JCP, etc. Due to this, I ordered the 1X (XXL) to be safe. These are definitely NOT created for short ladies. You will have to get these tailored or hem them yourself if possible. The length on your arms is also SO long compared to your average hospital scrubs. So I had to get that area tailored as well.
Unlike other scrubs, these aren’t too flexible when bending to pick up or adjust our patients. I’m actually worried these may break at some point. They aren’t tight, so don’t get me wrong there. They are just very stiff as if they will pop.
The top has a nice loose fit and look. I would not say these are the wrinkle-free scrubs that many of us try to purchase. However, they don’t wrinkle as noticeably as other material and I’m sure if I was in a rush, I wouldn’t bother to iron mine. But.... I still do iron these, simply to be professional. *** Be sure not to iron on too high of heat because there appears to be some form of glue holding these together along with the stitching. I have noticed it slightly melt.
I wash mine on gentle with my usual laundry detergent. Nothing fancy. As far as drying - dry these on LOW or even hang dry if possible. My seamstress explained that the glue I was noticing can come apart and damage these long term. Therefore, I dry until they are only slightly damp and then hand them on hangers in my bathroom.
So far there have been no stains. These aren’t waterproof or magical, but thankfully after accidental splatters of blood and other bodily fluids that I would not like to mention, no stains have been permanent. I do have the Dark RN Navy. But in the past, even my navy gowns have stained so this part is a plus.
I’m going to tell you that the bottoms are also much wider than I expected. This may be beneficial to others who have bigger hips or butts. Regardless, this is a plus for the women since we have all kinds of bodies! :)
All in all - it’s a cheap deal. If you’re desperate, these are okay to grab. Just understand that these were meant to fit a man in my opinion... and quite a tall one!!!
The product came on time. Color seemed true to picture. The material was itchy when I tried it on and was very large. I’m typically between a medium and a large but I saw some reviews that it ran small so I ordered up a size. It prolly fits true to size but the shirt is very big. I returned the scrubs and will probably not purchase again. My personal opinion, they are not for me. Scrubs probably would have been softer after washing as well. Also, I’m used to free returns and this does not have free returns.
