I am not sure how these towels get 5 and 4 star reviews. I guess it depends what towels you have used in your life. When these are advertised as SPA Quality, I am not sure what or what kind of spa they are comparing these too. I have gel towels that were night and day softer and plusher than than these at hotels and spas in various countries. These are not comparable to LUXURY towels like some reviews have stated, not even close to luxury towels. I am not saying these are bad towels, these are good towels for the money and if you are looking for better than average “commercial” grade towels then you will like these. The only reason I gave it 3 stars because they were advertised like luxury spa towels, which they are not.

White looks dingy next to older towels

Very surprised. Washed and stacked in the laundry room, they were great. I just moved them to the linen closet and stacked with at least 15 year old towels and they disappoint. Next to the old towels, they look like I washed them with something black that bled and tinted the load of laundry.
Appear white but I can't put one of these towels and an old one on the same towel bar. Same is true of my hand towels which make these look gray. I bought 4 bath towels. If I didn't have ANY other white towels these would seem to be white.

I like these towels--and the company seems eager to please-- but find them TOO soft. The main problem is that they're constantly falling off my towel bar, something which hasn't happened with my other hand towels. Also, there's a design feature I didn't notice when I ordered the towels, and that I don't particularly care for: a thin, shiny satiny line in the decorative part of the towel. My children think it's fine, but I feel the look is a bit low-end. Finally, the towels still feel a bit thinner than I'd like, even after following the instructions to wash in warm water and dry on low. These towels are good value, indeed; but if you're looking for towels that don't fall off, look a bit more sophisticated, and have more heft you might want to continue shopping.

LOTS OF LINT

I love the look of these towels. They're big and soft. However, the amount of lint coming off of them is pretty substantial. I bought these in turquoise and black. I washed the turquoise once as directed and dried them on low. The first use left fuzzies everywhere. In my washer, my dryer, on me and on my floors. I washed the black twice and then dried them. They threw just as many fuzzies as the turquoise. I'm really hoping that continued washing will lessen the amount of lint. Fingers crossed.

Conclusion: I'm going to keep it, but I'm not going to buy more of these. I will try ones that says fast dry next time.

Pros:
- Soft and fluffy.
- Relatively thick.
- Beautiful color (I bought Turquoise Blue).
- Good price.

Cons:
- Produces a lot of lint when it's washed and dried. I have washed it only once so I don't know what will happen at the second wash and dry yet.
- Stays wet for quite a long time after wiping hands. I guess it's because of its high absorbency, but it's a problem for me.

Disappointed with this purchase. They arrived quickly and the packaging was great. I followed the instructions for washing and drying, but I thought they would be thicker and more absorbent. Another down side is they leave little threads on your body when drying.

Don't laugh, I got this one for the color. It's so hard to find a decent (not overly expensive) coral-colored towel. It's soft enough and lightweight which is nice, but bits of lint kept coming off and made it very frustrating to use.

together with other colored laundry. Anything lighter than dark blue had blue fuss on. Not happy!
