Very thick and absorbant

I was looking for a towel that does it's job - dries thoroughly and isn't rough or too skimpy. Cotton is going to absorb better than anything else. These are pure cotton and weigh more than most towels on Amazon. Everything on Amazon has a weight listed under specs. These towels are twice as heavy and half the price of many "luxury" towels.

They are color fast; softer than most pure cotton towels; don't shed excessive lint in the dryer. They take a lot longer to dry than some towels. I use dryer balls to soften them (you shouldn't use fabric softener on towels.)

If you gave some people a gold brick - they would complain that it's too shiny and heavy. Ignore people complaining about these towels. They truly are well above average. They do their job, which is to absorb water from your body. They do a better job than most because there is twice as much towel (look at the weight) and they are softer than most towels.
