To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
There''s not much to dislike about these singlets. Perhaps more colours to choose from, and other sets have even less choice. It was gratifying to note that they are made in Central America (El Salvador from memory) and not the "C" place. They are very long in XXL size, which I wanted because coming into winter I was finding that my old singlets were too short. So long in fact that they're annoying to tuck in so I don't. They get tucked into longjohns if the day's cold enough to warrant them. The move to "tagless" is curious as tags have never bothered me, and the printing which replaces the tags has already become near-illegible after a couple of washes. I would buy again if I could get a better range of colours, but other 'sets" come in only black and grey. I like colour variation so I can keep track of how much/how often I wear specific singlets so some don't end up with a shortened life due to overuse and frequent washing. At least there's a bit of leeway with these singlets in terms of shrinkage because they're so long.
I ordered these because I already have plenty of black undershirts. The picture shows 2 blue, 2 navy blue, 1 grey, and one red. I realize that these are "assorted" so it might not be completely accurate, but what I got was 1 grey, 1 red, 1 blue, and 3 black. Black is not even pictured. My guess is if I ordered more I would get all black, all grey... just totally random. I dropped one star for this. The other two stars I dropped because these are noticeably thinner than the FTL A-shirts that I have bought in the past (not from Amazon). They are also noticeably different in size. We shall see how long they last, but they are not as thick as they used to be.
