The jacket fits a bit small, but is very comfortable. The biggest downside to this jacket is that the zipper gets stuck on the cloth A LOT! There isn't anything more annoying than when you're just closing a pocket or zipping up your jacket and all of a sudden it's jammed and now you have to spend 5-10 minutes freeing it up. Ive probably had to spend like 20 minutes so far freeing up the zipper and I've had it for a month. It might annoy me more than others, but it made this jacket a 2 star instead of a 4.
I bought the small size jacket expecting a perfect fit but it hanged on me like a dress. This is the third jacket I've returned online so far - they were all small size, and still too big. This makes no sense because I have jackets as big as 38-40 inches across the chest, and they fit me well, yet this 35-38 size jacket was too large. Outside of that, the jacket certainly looks well made and I'm sure other people have attested to its water-repellant qualities. But it seems like the sizes are not only wrong but also made for giant people...I am 5'8 and 143 pounds, yet the smallest size is unable to accommodate me.

The jacket size and the arm length do not match too well. I originally got a medium and returned it for a size small. The response for a new shipment was immediate and GREAT. However, the arms were still too long even though the jacket size was tight around my chest/waist. The jacket looked huge.
This jacket fits well and it looks good, however, it's not 100% waterproof. After hiking in light rain, it was clear the jacket had absorbed water. If you're looking for a lightweight rain shell, you're better off spending the money on higher quality gear from companies like Marmot or Northface.
This is an updated jacket, the precursor, which I loved, was the watertight. I can't stand this jacket.
Yes, it is completely waterproof, for which I purchased it; however, unlike its predecessor, the lining is different, which is the main reason for my dislike.
The lining: The lining is indeed mesh, but its a very rough mesh that is not smooth, if that makes sense. There are times when I have to take this jacket off and on or throw it on very quickly, and the mesh catches on the fabric of any long sleeves you're wearing. This causes the arms of your shirt to bunch up and also causes some of the lining to plume out from the jacket cuffs. So, after putting it on, I have to stick my hands down each jacket sleeve and adjust and pull my shirt sleeves back down, while also pulling the lining back UP and into the arms. It's a pain in backside.
