So much fun!

My 12 year old daughter and I completed this kit together. It took us about 15 hours or so in total to complete over the course of several days. We had never done anything like this before so it was a very fun new hobby for us to explore.

The instructions are fairly straight forward, though the English is a little broken but it was still pretty easy to follow along.

You will need to buy glue and batteries to complete it. We bought aleene’s tacky glue and beacon 3in1 craft glue. In addition some tools like tweezers, scissors, exacto knife are also required. As well as batteries for the lighting. The ones for my particular kit were lr1130 batteries. I bought them off Amazon as well.

The kit comes with everything else you will need and you will assemble it from scratch. We found it very rewarding and the end result is simply adorable.

Great little project ☺️ it took me about 5 days to complete it. You have to build EVERYTHING!!! Definitely a challenge but very worth it!!! I added my own personal touch and didn't build the house exactly like the picture. The instructions were pretty good takes a little bit to understand what is going on. Try not to mess up, especially with the fabric and the painted wood pieces, there's not much extra fabric and also no paint is included. I used a super glue gel like adhesive, it worked but definitely will stain the clear plastic. Special tool are needed so it's definitely not for beginners. Definitely recommended if you need a hobby to keep busy!

This is my second Mini DIY House kit. I did not complete my first one due to timing and health reasons.

This is NOT an easy quick task, these kits are meant for you to build EVERYTHING. So if you think you are getting everything built and just glueing and staging you are wrong. That being said these kits are fun as long as you have the patience and supplies needed. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because it did not come with the batteries for the wiring and the ones that it uses are hard to locate🤦🏻‍♀️ (mine still need to be ordered). I also received a damaged box (doesnt mean much to me) but did receive a broken stair case railing and one wooden sofa leg was shorter then the rest. All in all I completed this is about 18 hours (2 day split). I ALWAYS CHECK I HAVE ALL ITEMS IN THE KIT BEFORE BUILDING, TAKE THE TIME ⏲️OUT BEFORE STARTING TO CHECK ITEMS.....THIS AVOIDS FRUSTRATION!! 😒
PRECISION IS KEY, CUT TOO LITTLE YOU WONT COVER ENOUGH.. CUT TOO MUCH YOU WILL RUN OUT OF FABRIC ✂️👌🏻
Word of advice if you have arthritis or carpal tunnel it might make your hands hurt, also check your posture occasionally and take breaks to not hurt your neck. 😢

To be succesful building this kit you will need some supplies/tools⚒️ I recommend the following:
Beacon 3 in 1 Glue or any all purpose glue, precision scissors (there is a lot of cutting involved), small screwdriving kit, cutting pad, precission tweezer set, electric tape, xacto knife w blade replacements, and good lighting and/or magnifiying glasses (all can be bought on Amazon).

The picture instructions were easy to read and understand, I was precise with my cutting and glue and still made mistakes but its ok Im not perfect and neither is anyone else. For my second build (first completed) I think I did a good job🥰. I added my own touch to some stuff like the decorative bed pillow and added some other extra leaves here and there. I enjoyed it and love how it turned out, I will be purchasing a bigger project next 🤩🤩🤩

I've always wanted to build realistic homes for miniature shot as I do photography and thought this would be a good kit to start.

Was I wrong! Not that it's complicated but did not realize how detailed the product is that it reminded me of building model planes and cars when I was younger.
The instructions are very detailed and just hoping to sit down and build this... Soon or one day 😬😀

I am a therapist and wanted a very small doll house I could use in my classroom while still being small enough to store. This guy is TINY, and I mean tiny. About the height of my phone. This project is not for the faint of heart. It took me nearly 3 weeks of off and on work, and much angst. The pieces are teeny tiny, the instructions are in broken English and don't follow the order you would intuitively look for. I started out using Gorilla Glue adhesive and it made the project messy and difficult. Eventually I switched to Krazy glue which cures faster and that seemed to help, but made it easier to make a mistake as you couldn't easily fix the shape of things once it touched the glue.

Be prepared to make every teeny tiny piece of this house. I spent 3 hours making 6 cushions for the couch and at one point had to cut out spoons for the kitchen that were less than a centimeter. You definitely would be more successful with precision tools and glue.

There should be a Battery like a Instruction book photo.
I couldn’t find that Battery.
Without that battery it is useless.

Four stars for the beauty and instructions of this product. This is not for everyday crafters. This is for professional miniature builders. Thought it would be a fun project with my niece but everything is SO small that it was impossible to build without special tools. Very sad, it’s so beautiful! We just couldn’t execute it. It’s all quality materials though. So if you are a miniature builder, get this.

Let me start by saying if you’re looking for a weekend project for kids, this ain’t it. It’s time consuming and very tedious. You need a lot of extra supplies that aren’t mentioned. You don’t have a lot of room for error with what they give you. We’ve had this for months and half shelfed it. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of work that is necessary to build tho is tiny (TINY) thing.

My first reaction when I opened the box was, “What did I get myself into?!?” The instructions are broken english so I had to build it based on the picture. You are mostly cutting minuscule things out of paper and glueing. HORRIBLE! Extremely aggravating experience! This would be a perfect gift …. to your worse enemy! Lol!
