We bought these to decorate ourselves. The dark gray gives a perfect background for paints and glitter.

We love to make our own, and the embossed balls were particularly nice after painting. The plain balls were very easy to paint, and it seems to be holding up well, so far. We'll see next year, after they come out of storage, but so far, we're loving them.

Even if you don't paint or decorate them, they do make a nice change from the usual red, blue, gold balls. We didn't do them all, and left some plain, and they still look good on the tree. Not the entire thing, but a nice addition to the regular colors.

I'm sure someone will make a sophisticated tree - with only dark balls. and I'm sure it will look lovely, but we like a lot of different balls, and this added to our tree nicely.

They came in perfect condition, however I got the champagne gold and the glitter ones look more rose gold, threw me off a bit. Other than that, they are very pretty. I used hooks instead of the string they come with. Wish they came in bronze or copper!

So...I really wanted teal blue ornaments. I did NOT get teal- they are more green in bright light. Its very misrepresented. However, that aside for the price they are great. Not very sturdy but if you don't have pets/kids you should be ok. Not every ornament had a string attached.
