I loved these... then i got them in the mail.. they already had scratches on them as if someone returned them and I got their sloppy seconds.. they are not sturdy at all and seem cheaply made. one of the hooks even fell off of one when i took it out of the box.

I was looking for a brass stocking holder to match the ones we have had for 20 years. I ordered the snowman and was really disappointed when I received it. It did not have the screw it needed to be put together and it was so light that there was no way it would have stayed on the mantle with the garland. The brass was pitted and it seem to be scratched up. The quality was very cheap. I would not recommend and I would not buy again.

I bought the silver metal but it was so cheap looking (it had that blue kind of tint that cheap metal has) that I couldn't use it. But it's also almost Christmas so I needed stocking hangers. I spray painted them white and they look better but they are so flimsy I doubt they will hold the stockings up once they are filled. Oh well. I will look for some in store after xmas at 50% off.

CHEAP. ARRIVED BROKEN. But what is weird, it came with a screw and screwdriver? Why not send it in one piece -- why the screwdriver. It makes no sense. It's not rocket science. It's so cheaply constructed -- it's gonna break.
