The mats are stylish and comfortable. The cushioning is especially nice when working barefoot although it also adds a noticeable level of cushion even when wearing shoes. The top surface easily wipes down keeping the surface looking new.
It took a day or two for the curl from shipping to flatten out and for the new rubber smell to dissipate. The non-slip backing isn't very non slip when you're not standing on the mat. When you're standing on the mats they don't go sliding around but when I'm stepping on or off they move easily across the floor. This leaves them getting knocked out of position fairly easily.

Surface has checked badly and the coloring is peeling off. Similar to an old tractor or atv seat which was left out in the sun to much.
(pending review of replacement mats offered by manufacturer after posting this review..)

I am so happy I got these great mats! I have one in front of my kitchen sink and the other in front of my oven.
They are very comfortable to stand on. They feel like memory foam for you feet.
Nonskid is very important in the kitchen. These fit the bill! If you are standing on them they don’t move a bit. If you want to move them when there is no weight on them they are very easy to scoot with you foot.
I pored a little water on them and yes they are water resistant. Water did not soak in and wiped up easily.
I would recommend them for anyone wanting a nice simple easy care mat.

(update 6 months later). The mats still feel great and clean up nicely. However, the edges are losing their color like it's paint and has been rubbed off. For this reason, I am lowering my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

These mats look and feel great. The color (black) is more of a dark gray than true black, but they still compliment my kitchen. The mats come rolled up and at first I was concerned about the curled edges, but once I put them down they smoothed out nicely. There was a faint plastic odor, but it quickly faded once left in the open. They look like woven fabric. The cushioning is nice and feel good to stand on, as much as my last mat that I paid double this price. The pictures make them look larger than they are so read the measurements carefully. Still nice though. They seem like they'd clean up easily. All in all, I'm pleased."

They arrived quickly. And I was excited to try them out. They are both extra squishy and my piggies loved them. These could be used in other areas of the house. Especially if you want a comfortable, easy to clean foot space. The design is basic. But to see these in some colorful prints would be most awesome! Good product!

This product was exactly what I was looking for for my home. It was a little worried about what the quality was going to be like, but I was not disappointed. In the video I added I show the quality of it when I first opened it, it felt like it was going to last for a long time! And it’s also nonslip!! Also in my video I show myself trying to make the mat slip but it was very difficult. It’s also really nice to stand on, like a sort of memory foam. I was very impressed with this product!

Great for small spaces!

I gave these a few weeks to feel them out (literally!) They are not “sink into clouds” comfy- but I think this is a good thing. As a hairstylist, now HS English teacher, I spent years on my feet. At the salon we have mats to help with fatigue and these mats here are very similar. They are comfortable, firm with a little give, and VERY easy to clean. I did realize they were smaller than I anticipated but ultimately this worked to my advantage. The larger one went right in front of my kitchen sink and was more than wide enough to give me room to go from the sink to the immediate right and still be standing on it while I load the dishwasher. I do wish it was a little deeper, but was and is still useful as it is. For the smaller mat- I put it where I feed my dog. She is a 120 pound Newfoundland- super heavy, super droopy, and claws of steel. This may has stood up and still looks new. She stands on it while she waits for food, while she drinks, and while she begs. The mat still looks brand new. This use is how I definitively knew the mats are easy to clean. Her drool is notorious for being incredibly difficult to clean (like waaaaaay worse than my other dog’s drool🤷🏻‍♀️) This mat is easy wipe with a damp cloth and good to go. It cleans like rubber or plastic but looks more like a traditional rug material. I am here for it!

Ultimately, probably for smaller kitchens. Mine is a custom kitchen in an older home so could use an extra few inches in depth- but if I were still in an apartment or a home with a galley style or streamlined kitchen it would be ideal. And the ease of cleaning has far surpassed any of my expectations and that is my ultimate decision maker. It’s a win at a fair price.
